Catching Up

It has been way too long since I posted updated pictures. We have been busy here. We went to Dallas in November for Thanksgiving. We loved Christmas and now that we are in the new year, the time is still flying by. I cannot believe it is almost March.

Chris is now 14 and almost done with 8th grade. High school here he comes. He is still active in scouts and loves his Friday nights at the roller rink.

Kyle just turned 4 last week and he is so big. He is no longer a baby, but my little man. He loves school and his teachers. He is into telling jokes and silly stories. His favorite think to do is to play fire trucks and build with his blocks. He also loves to play with Mo and try to get her to do things he knows they are not supposed to. But hey, what big brother does not try that with his little sister.

Morgan is just being cute and talking up a storm. She does not stop and her latest phrase is “I wanna...." She talks in full 5-6 word sentences and is very clear to understand. She has to try everything Kyle does and then some. She is going to be the one to cause a heart attack for Dave or me. She will be starting to be potty trained next week. She has a huge interest in the potty and tells us when she has to go, so I guess it is that time. Where did my little baby girl go? She is almost 2 and I cannot believe how grown up she is. Guess she is going to have to keep going to keep up with the boys.

As for Dave and me, we are just waiting until the new baby comes in April. The official C-section date is set for the 9th and will keep the posted when he/she arrives. I was told yesterday as well as the last visit that this baby is going to be a big one. So we will see how it compares to its older brothers and sister.

Here are pictures from the past 3 months. Hope you enjoy them. There are also a few videos at the end. One is Kyle asking Daddy a million questions while making cookies, one that he is telling us how old he is, another of Kyle singing “Happy Birthday” to Morgan on his birthday, and one with Mo dancing at church. Every time we started to sing, she would stop what she was doing and start her silly dancing. It was rather adorable.

Kyle and Daddy making sugar cookies.

The end result. Mmmm Yummy.
Christmas Eve Kyle and two cousins were in a little play at church. This is also the preschool they attend. The kids had a blast and did a great job!
Getting ready to be a wiseman.
Kyle and AJ being the cute serious Wiseman.
More serious this time.

You dressed me up, now you want me to smile. Man, you are asking for a lot!
Daddy and Mo waiting to go into church.
Mommy and Mo-Mo Christmas Eve after church.
Christmas Eve after church. My favorite new pic of all of them.
The kids opening up their Christmas jammies.
Christmas Morning.

Kyle loved his new socks from Mimi. Seriously, he loved them despite the sad puppy dog eyes.

Chris got a new phone. Made for a very happy boy.

Mo did not get all of the opening things right away, but eventually she understood.

Kyle and Mo "sharing" her new couch/bed.

We turned around one minute and looked back only to find Mo trying out her doll crib and seeing if she could fit in there too. Yep, she can. Goofy girl.

Christmas at Gi-Gi and Papa's house.

You know Phil is trying to figure out how he can steal Christophers snuggie!

Kyle and Papa trying out his new racetrack.
Kyle and his "crazy cousins".

Passed out cold after a long day.
SNOW TIME
We got a ton of snow the day after Christmas and Kyle loved it!!!

This was the view out our back window. The swingset was covered.

Chris turns 14.
Where did my baby go? I can not believe he is going to high school next year.

Misc pics.

No we did not tell them to do this. We had a visitor puppy for a few days and the kids loved playing in her cage. Who needs expensive toys when you can lock each other in the dog's cage?

Kyle concentrating on his painting. He wanted a new stool for the bathroom and of course it had to be blue.

The blackmail picture for later in life! This was all on his own, we did not encourage it!

Fun at the Childrens' Museum

Kyle turns 4.

Daddy and Kyle. He loves his daddy!
Morgan enjoying some of the cake decorations.
