Summertime

I will come back and add pictures in later. I wanted to update everyone on how we are doing.

Chris is officially a high school student. I cannot believe he is a freshman. Where did the last 14 years go? He is excited to start with new friends and a new chapter in his life. This summer he is keeping very busy. He will be gone more than half the summer doing scout activities and camp. He just came back from his High Adventure trip. He had a blast. He did kayaking, zip line and an amusement park for fun. They also went to German town and visited Wright Patterson Air force base. In a week and half, we will be packing up the car with all his stuff to send him off to Owasipee Boy Scout Camp for a month. Three out of the four weeks, he will be a counselor in training. the fourth week, he will just be a normal scout working on his badges and making his goal towards Eagle Scout.

Kyle is loving the summer and the water. We have gone a couple times to the local sprinkler park and he loves it. He is missing school, teacher and friends, but loves lounging around in his pj's too. This week he is attending vacation bible school at his preschool/church. He LOVES it. He gets to meet his new teacher for the fall and some new friends while visiting with old ones. He is really into music right now. He will listen to anything from Peter, Paul and Mary(Puff is his favorite) to heavy metal or anything you put on. I will try to get a video of him dancing on here. It is too cute.

Morgan has grown a ton on the past 6 months. Literally. She grew 3 inches in 6 months. None of the kids did that at this age. She went from being a tiny little thing to 70% for height. She is still skinny, only 20% for weight, but getting so big. She is no longer a baby, but a big girl. We are working on potty training. She understands it, but does not want to take the time. There is way too much playing to do. I don't blame her, I want to play too. She loves to "help" with Aaron. She will do anything her baby brother needs. She also is enjoying the water and fun we are having. We bought her a water table for her birthday. It has been an awesome investment. She loves it and cannot get enough. Of course that means she can go outside and she loves to go out. It does not matter what the weather, she wants to be outside.

Aaron is getting bigger everyday. He is now almost 3 months and 10lbs 11 oz. He is smiling and just this week, started to laugh. The kids love to play with him and get smiles. He is sleeping through the nights somewhat. He only wakes to eat and goes right back to sleep 2 or 3 times and sleeps for a couple more hours.

Dave and I are doing well. The same old thing, just different season. We have had some issues come up with our home and the foundation that we are dealing with. The house has shifted 3 inches from front to back. We now have to have it fixed so we can sell it in a year or so when the market bounces back. That being said, yes we are staying for a little longer here. We have a couple of really good neighbors that I do not want to move from. Then again, having 4 kids in a 3 bedroom house makes for tight times. Chris has the basement and Aaron and Kyle will share once Aaron sleep all night. For the time being he is in with mommy and daddy.

We hope all is well with everyone else and we look forward to seeing some extended family over the upcoming holiday.
